Baby Gym again

The last time Alyssa attended this baby gym class was 4 months back, she was not playing much at that time as she was too young for it, this time, Mami registered her again in the same class and she could do more and followed most of the instructions this time.

Some warm-up exercise to begin with

Tiptoe walking

Bear crawling

Climb up ladder

Walk on high beam

Imagination game: birthday party with dolls

After her 2nd birthday, Alyssa could sing the song 'Happy Birthday' and sometimes she played 'making birthday cake with play-doh' with Mami. Papi 'organized' this doll birthday party for her. All her doll friends participated with Starbucks paper cup as birthday hat.

Blocks as birthday cake and candle

Blowing the candle after the birthday songs.

The more friends, the merrier the party is.

say sorry

Alyssa can say sorry, but the way she say it doesn't sound very sincere though. She would kiss Papi or Mami for her wrong doings though.

Day care - no more crying

After two weeks of getting used to going to daycare, Alyssa finally got no more problem/crying when saying bye to Papi or Mami in the morning when they drop her off at the daycare. She blew kisses as well when saying bye. Another parent warned Papi and Mami that it will not be too long until she will cry because she has to leave the daycare/preschool.

Alyssa bought home from time to time craft from the daycare and also some new mandarin words and some mystery songs (new songs that mami doesn't know before)

Lego Watermelon

Papi is pretty good in turning Lego into amazing things (e.g. tunnel, big slide, swing, chairs and etc). Mami is not as good in this area, usually she prefers to play play-doh with Alyssa instead. They usually use play-doh to make noodles, birthday cake, faces, cat, figures and etc.

This time, Mami made a watermelon for Alyssa though.

This one is especially for you, grandma.

Day care

Alyssa has started to go to day care for 2 weeks. This day care operates like a mini preschool as well, with one Mandarin teacher (she can speak Cantonese too, perfect for Alyssa) and one English teacher and only 6 kids.

Teacher said Alyssa said so much things and the other little kids were following her to speak some words in Cantonese. For example, 鴨鴨 in Cantonese instead of 鴨子 in Mandarin and she said a lot of "Alyssa 返屋企'", and the other kids just follow her, those kids are not speaking Cantonese at home.

She cried at the beginning week when parents are fetching their kid home (she heard the door bell and wished that it would be Papi or Mami, but then when it was not, she started to cry). She is not crying anymore for that, but in the morning, she still doesn't want Papi / Mami to leave her behind and protest a bit, but she stopped crying once Papi / Mami left the daycare.

A next stage for little Alyssa, keep it up Darling.

I love you
